Lee Pawloski PDF Print E-mail

Lee was born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut. He married his wife, Martha, in May of 1964 and was baptized into Christ later that year in October. Lee and Martha raised four sons, Criag, Michael, Scott and Steven. Craig, Michael and Steven are members of the Ward Street church, and Scott and his family are members of the church in Dallas, Texas. Lee has twelve grandchildren.

Lee and Martha began worshiping with the congregation in 1965 when they still met in a large house in Meriden, just a few years after the congregation was started. They were instrumental in the growth and success including helping the church purchase the building that we still occupy today on the corner of Ward Street and South Whittlesey Avenue. Over the years, Lee has preached, taught Bible classes for children and adults and has always been a dedicated servant of God. In 1999, Lee was formerly ordained as one of the congregation's first two elders and he continues to serve with a great love and compassion for God's people.

George Souto PDF Print E-mail

George was born in Azores, Portugal on a small island called Santa Maria. He came to the United States when he was eight years old and became a Naturalized US Citizen in 1973. He was married to his wife, Renee, in October 1974. George was baptized into Christ in December, 1974. Together they raised two sons, Matthew and Brandon, both of whom are active in the work of the church.

George and his family came to Ward Street in 1984. He quickly made an impact on the congregation by getting invovled in different ministries. He lead the Fellowship Ministry for about five or six years, the Education Ministry for five years and organized an annual weekend congregational gathering which we call "The Family Retreat", over which he and Renee served for about twelve years. Also during this time, George taught numerous bible classes for both children and adults, including Vacation Bible School. In November of 1999, George was formally ordained as one of our first two elders. George continues to hold fast to his commitment to "immerse" himself into the work of pastoring the flock of God.

Ron Brown PDF Print E-mail

Ron was born and raised in Texas. He was raised in the church and was baptized into Christ in 1971. He married his high school sweetheart, Jackie, in 1976. Together, they raised three children, Andrea, Ryan and Casey. Andrea is a member of the Ward Street church, while Ryan and Casey both attend church in Nashville, Tennessee.

Ron and his family came to Ward Street in Spring of 1996 and they became active members of the congregation. Both Ron and Jackie feel strongly that their children's involvement in the youth group and other church related activities played a critical role in helping them to grow spiritually into Christian adults. In more recent years Ron began to take on more of a leadership role. In 2004, Ron was appointed to the work of deacon in charge of Communications. He served faithfully in that role until being ordained as the congregation's third elder in November of 2007. He is a dedicated servant for the Lord and cares deeply for each and every child of God entrusted to his care.
